I love how Kingyou not only produced a high quality set of Bluetooth headphones, they made them foldable and provides a quality case to keep them in.  In my experience with my own family, things that have a case tend to last longer.  There is a place to put them when not in use, a place to keep the charging cord and the headphones don’t seem to get broken.  Other pairs of headphones we have had ended up damaged or ruined because they were just tossed on tables..thrown on the couch (and sat on), tossed into gym bags or backpacks and bent out of shape etc.  The case doesn’t take up a lot of room and the headphones themselves fold so it is easy to take them with you.  In fact, I use larger purses and if I needed to, the case would fit in my purse.

Edota 3 Pack Lightening Cables

This is a 3 pack of iOS (lightening) cables for Apple products.  Inside is three different sized cables, a 3ft, a 6ft and a 10ft.  This means you will have a cable for whatever need you might have.  I like to keep a 3ft one by my bed because there is a plug right there and I don’t need, nor want a long cable there.  The 6ft cable I keep in the family room so that I can plug my device in and have enough length so I can comfortably use it while charging.  As for the 10ft cable, that is the size I usually bring with me since I never know where I will find a plug and how much length I will need.  There have been times I have had to crawl under a desk in a hotel room and leave my phone under the desk because the cable just wasn’t long enough to reach where I needed it to go.  The 10ft cable makes sure I have enough length to plug in anywhere.

They also come with little Velcro straps so you can keep them coiled up nicely when not in use so you won’t end up with a tangled mess of cords.

These cables are also nylon braided which I prefer as I find they always last longer than the unbraided variety and that cuts down costs on replacement.  The tips are also securely attached so that when you pull them out of the wall, they aren’t going to detach from the cord or cause a short.

Shareconn Bluetooth Earpiece

I wear earbuds when listening to music or ebooks and while you can certainly use them to answer your phone, I have never really cared for it.

I much rather prefer an earpiece like the Shareconn Bluetooth Earpiece.  It has a microphone that I can adjust to where I want it and it gives me more of the traditional feeling of being on the phone that I am used to.  I can put the microphone closer to me, or move it farther away.

The volume control is conveniently located right behind the ear, and the function switch is right on the microphone.  The piece is also light weight and connect to two phones, which makes it easy to answer calls from both a business and personal phone.

I have tested this product and found that I was easily able to hear anyone that I talked to and the microphone works very well and anyone I spoke to told me I came in crystal clear.

This set is great, because even at home, I can be hands free to go through papers during business calls, or get some chores done while chatting with a friend.  It is very comfortable and I can also switch ears if I like.

Volutz Lightening Cables

If you are like us, we have multiple Apple products in our home and always seem to have a shortage of cords.  Either they get lost, they stop working or people “borrow” them accidentally.

When we first started buying cables we wanted longer ones and so I purchased my fair share of cheap cords.  Well, they were cheap in more ways than one, they were not only cheap to buy, but cheaply made.  They only lasted a couple of weeks, sometimes a month at most and pretty soon we had a collection of cords around the house and when we needed to charge a device, it was difficult to find a cord that worked.

I have come a long way since then and it takes a good deal to impress me when it comes to Lightening cables.  The Volutz cables have all the things I look for in quality cables, but they come at a reasonable price.  So what do they have that I look for?

• They are Apple MFI Certified so they won’t give you error messages.

So not only do these cords work well, charging my phone quicker than other cables, but they also look awesome!

Many retailers forget how important great packaging is and how it can affect people’s perception of the quality of a product.  If you purchase something and it comes in plastic bag your get one impression and if that identical product comes in a nice box, with nice packaging aside you get a totally different impression.

Nice packaging makes us feel that the product is better and higher quality and to be honest, I will pay more for the same product if the packaging is wonderful.  It also means I am more likely to purchase it as a gift because it is something that has a very nice presentation when someone receives it.

Banish the Wire

Seneo Qi Wireless Charging Stand

I look forward to the day when all phones will just automatically charge themselves over wifi  when the phone is connected to it,  and the days of finding your charging cord and plugging it in is reserved for only those times when there is no wifi available.  Until then we have moved a step forward and Qi wireless charging is available.

Now Qi is not truly wireless because the actual stand needs to be plugged into a computer or wall plug via USB but it is wireless in the sense that you just sit it on the charging stand and there is no plug or port sticking up that your phone must attach to.  It is rather nice to be able to just plop your phone down instead of having to make sure it is connected to the stand in any way.

Charging times via this method I have found rival having it plugged in normally, so it’s not like it is going to take your phone longer to charge.  I am also a fan of the charging stands because I just like putting my phone on a stand rather than sitting on a table where it can easily get knocked off or a spill of a nearby refreshment could signal the death toll of your phone.

Now lets talk specifically about this Seneo wireless charging pad.  I love the flat black texture, the low profile and the angle the phone sits at.  I could however do without the Seneo name emblazoned on the front of it, however when the phone is on it you won’t see it and thankfully they didn’t do it in bright white so it’s not that obvious.I am happy with the charging speed but really wish all companies would provide 6ft cords rather than 3ft because you may want to keep your charger away from a computer and in a spot where a wall plug is not directly behind the charger.  I also really like the slim blue light that appears along the bottom of the charger to let you know it is on.

One thing you should be aware of is that you either have to put your phone on the charger without a case, or the case can only be a couple mm thick in order for the charging to work.  Thin cases are everywhere in so many styles though that this should not be a problem.

Now in order to use this charger your phone needs to be Qi compliant and below I have listed phones that are compliant, however if you don’t have a compliant phone, there are adapters you can purchase for $10-$12 that will allow you to use it.
